Kimberly-Clark Featured Partner

Kimberly-Clark is committed to strengthening families in communities where they live and work. 1,300 employees are based on their 98 acre Roswell campus, and they take pride in   giving back to their local community both financially and through active volunteerism. This commitment has greatly benefited the 209 families served by The Drake House since our beginning.  Kimberly-Clark’s Operations Headquarters has donated almost $85,000 and countless volunteer hours to The Drake House since 2005.  This contribution included $10,000 in seed money prior to opening our doors to homeless families in the North Fulton community.  Other areas of involvement include donations to our capital campaign and operating funds, participation each year in Miss Mary’s Ice Cream Crankin’, and volunteers through the Kimberly-Clark Women’s Interactive Network.

Beverly Yearack, Community Relations Director for Kimberly-Clark and Drake House Advisory Council member, summed it up by saying, “The Drake House is unique in what they do and make a meaningful impact in the community.  We continue to be impressed by the fact that for such a young agency, they have grown so steadily and with such success.”

We would like to say thank you to Kimberly-Clark for being such a strong and consistent partner in our mission to help homeless mothers and their children regain stability!
