Volunteering at The Drake House means you are supporting families in your own community. The need is powerful. In 2017, more than 800 mothers and 1,600 children turned to us for a stable home environment.
You can volunteer at The Drake Center, at our fundraising events, and in a variety of other roles at The Drake House and The Drake Village. When you do, you help to enable homeless mothers and their children to become self-sufficient.
Each year more than 700 volunteers commit more than 12,000 service hours to The Drake House. We are fortunate to have volunteers supplement the efforts of the professional staff. Our staff and Board of Directors extend our sincerest thanks for all the hard work these volunteers do!
"I started volunteering with my church. I've done so many things from mentoring to office work. I have seen hundreds of lives changed over the years."
- Sheryl, 10 year + Volunteer
