The Drake House Board of Directors represents a special blend of business community leaders whose business experience provide them with the necessary skills to establish sensible strategic guidance and direction for the organization. The membership includes:

Jim Alford

Project manager at Nortel. He is an active volunteer at Temple Kehillat Chaim and in the Atlanta community. Jim has been instrumental in establishing a strong partnership between The Drake House and Nortel.

     
Malia B. Bagdy

Previous Fine Arts Manager/Communications/PR Director at Wesleyan School for 12 years. Recently led two high school mission trips to Honduras and Tijuana, Mexico. Is a Charter/Sustaining Member of the Roswell Alpharetta Chapter of National Charity League and actively volunteers in the community

Teacher at Mimosa Elementary School, Roswell.  Director, Project Boost at Mimosa which is an after school tutoring and enrichment program for at risk children

An MPH, who is an independent consultant with expertise in community based health care and health profession's education.  She is an active volunteer at The Drake House and Habitat for Humanity.

Duane Thacker

A retired businessman who is an active volunteer at The Drake House and at his church and other local non-profits.  Duane is a family advocate and volunteer team leader and has been the leader in refurbishing and maintaining one of The Drake House apartments.
